6” Boat Lift Slings

from $230.00

About this Item

  • 12,000 lb. basket rating

  • Galvanized pear ring with sheaf guards

  • Made from marine-grade polyester

  • Sewn-in lead weights

  • Dye color process with UV inhibitors

  • Double padded kneel pads

  • 6,000 lb. raised stamp pear rings on each end of the sling

The 6″ Wide Boat Lift Slings feature a dying process developed specifically for the marine industry. The dyed coloring process guarantees that it will not transfer to your watercraft’s finish. The marine slings have lead weights sewn into the double kneel pad. The weights help keep the shape of the sling and help keep it from floating. However, the weights are not enough to keep adequate tension on the boat lift cable. We recommend using additional cable weights to keep more tension on the cable.

Features

Made from marine-grade polyester. Features UV inhibitors on the slings. The slings feature a double padded keel pad. Sewn-in lead weights. Dual-sided galvanized 5/8 in. thick pear rings. The pear rings feature sheaf guards for protection. 12,000 lb. basket lift rating. 6,000 lb. WLL rating. Type MS1 x 94P. Made by BH-USA.

NOT FOR LIFTING HUMANS OR OVERHEAD LOADS.

What is WLL?

Working Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum working load specified by the manufacturer. This load represents a mass or force that is much less than that required to make the lifting equipment fail or yield, (known as the Minimum Breaking Load – MBL). SWL or WLL are calculated by dividing the MBL by a safety factor ( SF).

However, the weights are not enough to keep adequate tension on the boat lift cable. We recommend using additional cable weights to keep more tension on the cable.
